How to Reuse Your Candle Jars & Bowls

Once your candle has burned its last cozy glow (stop when about 1/2 inch of wax remains), don't toss the beautiful glass jar or resin bowl—give it a second life. Easy Cleaning Instructions

To prepare your jar or bowl for reuse:

  • Freeze method (our favorite—gentle on glass/resin): Place the jar/bowl in the freezer for a few hours. The remaining soy wax will shrink and pop out easily.
  • Hot water method: Pour boiling water into the jar (carefully!), let it sit until the wax melts and floats to the top. Pour out the wax, then wash with mild dish soap and warm water.
    Wipe away any residue with a soft cloth. Avoid abrasive scrubbers to keep the surface pristine.

Pro tip: Soy wax is natural and biodegradable—compost any leftover bits!
